VibelyTalk ("we," "our," or "us") operates the VibelyTalk mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our App, in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) of India.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Personal Information

• Phone number (used for account verification via OTP)
• Name, date of birth, and gender
• Profile photos and images you upload
• About/bio text and interests
• Location data (latitude and longitude) when you grant permission

2.2 Financial Information

• Transaction history related to coin purchases and withdrawals
• Payment information processed through third-party payment gateways (Razorpay, Google Play Billing)
• UPI ID or bank details provided by Hosts for withdrawal purposes

We do not store your complete credit/debit card details. All payment processing is handled by PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment processors.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

• Device information (model, OS version, unique device identifiers)
• FCM push notification tokens
• IP address and approximate location
• App usage data and interaction logs
• Online/offline status and last active timestamps

2.4 Chat Data

Messages exchanged between users are stored on our servers to deliver and sync conversations. We do not read or monitor the content of your messages unless required by law enforcement or to investigate a reported violation of our Terms.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

• Other users: Your profile information (name, photos, age, interests, online status) is visible to other users of the App.
• Payment processors: Razorpay and Google/Apple for processing transactions.
• Service providers: Firebase (authentication, push notifications), cloud hosting providers for infrastructure.
• Law enforcement: When required by law, court order, or governmental authority under applicable Indian law.
• Legal compliance: To enforce our Terms, protect rights, safety, or property.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement reasonable security practices as required under the IT Act, 2000, and the SPDI Rules, 2011, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
• Firebase Authentication with phone-based OTP verification
• Token-based API authentication
• Access controls on databases and servers

While we take all reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

6. Data Retention

• Account data is retained as long as your account is active.
• Upon account deletion, personal data is deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
• Transaction records are retained for a minimum of 8 years as required under Indian tax and financial regulations.
• Chat messages are retained for the duration of the conversation and deleted upon account deletion.

7. Your Rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (right to erasure)
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Nominate a person to exercise rights on your behalf
• File a grievance with us or the Data Protection Board of India

8. Location Data

We collect your location (GPS coordinates) only when you explicitly grant permission. Location data is used to:

• Show you nearby users
• Calculate distance between users
• Improve the relevance of user discovery

You can revoke location permission at any time through your device settings. The App will continue to function with limited features without location access.

9. Children's Privacy

VibelyTalk is intended for users aged 18 years and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will promptly delete their account and associated data.

10. Third-Party Services

Our App uses the following third-party services that may collect data:

• Firebase (Google) — Authentication, Cloud Messaging
• Razorpay — Payment processing
• Google Play / Apple App Store — In-app purchases
